Light 1: Outside

VictoriaOwensOutdoor Light

When capturing this image I grabbed the sky by focusing on the sky and then moving down onto the temple. By doing this the sky didn’t wash out when the image was captured.

Light 2: Indoor

VictoriaOwensIndoor Light

To get the indoor light I had the blinds open in my apartment and had a lamp on. I also had other lights on in the room. With the use of the lights, I was able to capture various shadows in the room.

Focus 1: Foreground

VictoriaOwens.Foreground

To get this image I focused on the close subject first. With my camera, it automatically blurred the background and focused on the main subject.

Focus 2: Background

VictoriaOwensBackground

To gain this image I focused on my subject in the background then centered my camera for the picture. By doing this the camera was focusing on my subject in the background and didn’t focus on the closer object.

Composition 1: Thirds
